Hello everybody!
If you've been looking on my social media, maybe you know about one incident that I've had through about a crazy person that made fake accounts using my name and photo.
How did that happen?
Okay, here's the complete story..
So, on 19th November 2015 in the morning about 6 am, I was awoken by my friend who was knocking on my door room.
I don't usually lock my door when I sleep, only when I have a shower since my bathroom is inside my room so yeah I lock it everytime I have a shower
But that night I forgot to unlock it again, so my friend had to knock my door in the morning to get inside.
My friend happen to know my habit, which is never wake up so early in the morning if I have nothing to do that day.
And yeah, that day I had nothing to do, so my friend was pretty sure I was still asleep.
When she was knocking, first thing that came to my mind was, "Geez! What the hell is she doing? Doesn't she know I'm still asleep?"
At first, I wanted to ignore her (I'm sorry >.<) until she go away, but then I rose up and unlock the door.
The time she opened up the door, she said right away that someone chatted her using my LINE account.
Well, I just woke up and I need sometimes to process what she just said.
Then she repeated again that my LINE account was used by someone else, using my photo and my name.
Then I grabbed my phone, and check if there's something happen to my LINE through my phone.
As I checked, I saw that nothing different happen to my display picture or anything.
And that's when I realized, my friend was talking about a fake account!
She's also adding that my Facebook account was also faked!
I immediately turned on my laptop because Facebook is easier to check via laptop then phone (imo)
And yes I found it, using the same name and my photo from my original's account album.
In the meantime, 2 of my high-school friends chat me via LINE and some from Facebook messaging.
Since they are not that close to me, chatted me all of a sudden in the morning seems wrong to me.
And from that, I knew that they probably chatted by that faker too and cross-checking with me to see whether that account is true or not.
And yes, they were chatted by the faker!
It's good to cross-checking!
Then I immediately reported all my friends via LINE, BBM, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter that someone made fake Facebook and LINE account using my name and photo asking for phone credit!
Yes, the crazy faker asked for phone credit to my friends!
From my class group chat in LINE, right after my report, I got feedback that some of them were also chatted by the faker.
Some were playing around with the faker after my report, some were saved because the faker almost got them.
More feedback were coming, saying that they were also added as friend in Facebook using the fake one.
I asked them to report it if they don't mind, and they did!
The fake Facebook isn't searchable after that.

Some minutes later, after the keep coming feedback came to a slow down, one of my friend sending me pictures via LINE.
She's showing that the faker also using BBM to deceive people, and this I didn't know!
So far I just knew that only Facebook and LINE were just faked, and now BBM too!
And unluckily, the faker got her good via BBM!
She sent the faker the phone credit that was asked, for IDR 200K and asked for more!
I was shocked that there's a victim fell in the end :(
It seemed my report came late from when she was asked, so that happened.
Because she knew the faker's phone number, I tried to make a report to the service provider hoping to block that number.
But the queue line in the service center was way really long and I couldn't make it because there's something I had to do after that.
Sorry friend :(
After that, the day went normal, until it came to the evening.
One of my friend told me via comment in my Instagram that there was also a fake Instagram account.
I asked her for the fake id, and there it was the fake one.
Then I made another report again around my friends, via my social medias.
Then Instagram comments came up from my friends telling me that only I can do the report to Instagram about the fake account.
Well, I did it then!

And, that is the story!
My days gone by normally after that.
I thank God for my friends and bad things didn't happen to me and them, even if a victim fell in the end but at least it's not life-threatening.
One thing that I want to share to you guys, if someone you know contact you in a strange and unusual way, do a crosscheck first.
Or at least proceed your action cautiously and carefully, make sure that person is the right one.
